June 20, 2024I think Persona is a wonderful talent and I was extremely grateful to hire her for our wedding. Unfortunately, the main reason I hired her was to sing me down the aisle and she went to the wrong location. I was told by my coordinator while I was waiting to walk down the aisle. I was very lucky to have a DJ who thank goodness covered for her. But what a disappointment.
I had reached out to Persona a year in advance, paid my deposit and signed the contract. Communication was difficult and I had to continually ask if she could send me a sample of the song. I only received the full song one week before our wedding. She ignored texts that I had to keep following up on and tried to upcharge me to replug in her piano if we moved it 10 feet (for ceremony to cocktail hour). Our staff offered to relocate it the 10 feet and plug it all back in but she wanted $150 for it. I felt like this was a nickel and dime charge which wasn’t very kind or helpful. At no point during our communication was she kind of helpful. Never felt at ease. She made me feel like it was a hassle for her that I had questions.
She did play for cocktail hour. The full charge was $700 and she only offered me $100 off for missing, what for me and any bride is, the biggest part.
After sending me her apology and offer via email, one week later I received an email saying to pay the invoice or she will have her lawyer contact me.
I have paid her remaining balance and haven’t heard a word back.
Like I said at the beginning, I believe she is a wonderful singer/artist. But her professionalism as a woman is business, is atrocious.
Hire at your own risk. Do not recommend.

April 2, 2022Ms. Bell was wonderful. Her voice will bring you chills. We were a little concerned due to not knowing her but she was great. She played the piano and sung for my mother in law funeral. Everyone just praised over her performance. I would definitely ask her to perform again.

Persona Bell is very professional. She will arrive to the event venue with plenty of time to set up and do sound check. She will bring all the equipment she needs unless otherwise agreed upon. Music is provided from the ipad unless there is a DJ there to fill any empty spaces before and during the event. Persona is easy to work with as she wants every event to go just as smooth as you do!
Persona Bell's major passion in life is music. Whether performing as a vocalist or pianist, listening to music or guiding others to reach their artistic greatness, she wears her love for music on her sleeve. She graduated from St. Olaf College in Minneapolis, Mn where she studied classical piano and voice and has been traveling ever since sharing and exploring in the musical world. Music was first introduced to her at the age of 10 when she was approached by her grandmother and asked if she would like to take piano lessons. The next month she took her first lesson thus inspiring the true start of her love affair the music. Through her rigorous training and full dedication to the art she developed into the phenomenal musician here today. She started performing jazz and top 40's music at private and public events in 2003 and currently is in the midst of finishing her first self album. She is very proud and excited to share this music that she wrote and arranged with the help of local producers and friend musicians here in Charlotte!

If the event is outside there needs to be sufficient protection from the natural elements. If it is hot outside there needs to be a tent provided and set up before arrival. If it is cold outside there needs to be a heater. If the set up is on a lawn there needs to be a space rug upon which Persona can set up her gear. If the event is in the evening sufficient light must be provided so that Persona is not singing/playing in the dark.
