Perry Gallagher Photography

Perry generated fabulous photos of my milestone birthday/costume party held in an art gallery. He worked his tail off, generating an impressive volume of images. But what I appreciate the most is what he captured and how he captured his subjects and the sense of fun that permeated the evening. Some of my favorite shots are the wide angle shots and intentionally crooked framing and Perry's other artistic stylings. He also got the little fringe details, like close-ups of tray-passed hors d'oevres and cocktail menus. To my surprise, I later learned that some of my guests had taken Perry aside momentarily for some funny posed shots. Besides his obvious talent, Perry also brought his fun-loving and engaging personality, which guests warmed up to instantly. I am grateful for the way Perry so thoroughly, effectively, artistically memorialized the entire event.

We hired Perry to photograph our engagement party. He did a wonderful job. As the holidays approach, I've been putting together a photo book of the event for the host, and I'm struggling to narrow down photos to use because there are so many good ones. Outside of the actual photos, Perry was friendly, professional, on-time, and quick to respond to questions.

When I booked my first shoot with Perry I was very nervous. I’m not a model and don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera. I’m always the one in the picture with a scared expression and red eyes. Perry quickly made me feel at ease. He guided me through the shoot with patience and kindness. When I got the pictures back I was over the moon with how good they were. They were beautiful! No more red eyes and deer in the headlights pictures. I would highly recommend this photographer, especially if you’re nervous like I was. He’s really great

I've been looking for a photographer for a photoshoot to celebrate my marriage. My parents came from oversees and this photoshoot was so special to me. I am a perfectionist. It usually takes me a lot of research before I come to peace with my decisions. When I came across Perry's photography page, the quality of the photos caught my eyes. The tangible liveliness, and the essense of the moment was well captured in his photos. It was about "people" and it didnt strike me as clishe. I decided to trust my gut with no further research. So I contacted him. First of all, he is so easy to communicate with, and the planning went very smoothly. He suggested a nice location that perfectly matched with what I had imagined. When we met for photoshoot, his confidence with the camera made me feel confident that we are in good hands! In an hour we had taken a wide variety of photos. It was a sunny bright day, which could be hard for shooting (and posing in suits and heels!) but the quality of the photos is really top-notch. He sent us the digital copy the same night. No suspension, which I really appreciate! His sense of humor, and be-natural tricks helped us be more comfortable (you know, posing in front of camera could be tricky sometimes - for some people!)
Perry is a professional and a talented photographer. He really knows what he's doing. I'm glad I found him, and I definitely recommend him to anyone who wants quality photos for their special moments.
