With over 30 years experience in covering all types of events, I have helped clients market their find even greater success by using my photos to help market their businesses. Marketing yourself is easier with great images that are worthy of your business activities, your great music talents, and your products and beautiful spaces. I am an Award-winning photographer/photojournalist with over 25 years covering events. My micro focus is blues musicians but I also cover all types of events. Formerly a photojournalist for five different newspapers throughout my career and presently an active Member of American Society of Media Photographers.
I met Peggy at BB's Lawnside BBQ in Kansas City, Mo. during our Midwest tour in 2017. She captured so many great shots; and vids, of us during our performance at BB'S and a week later at Knuckleheads Saloon in KC. I'm not the easiest subject to capture on film due to my energetic performances; I move around a lot, and because of this I get complaints by still photographer's that their pics of me are often blurry. Not the case with Peggy. She captures the moment perfectly, no blurs, just clean asnd tight. I would not only highly recommend her for your photography needs, but extremely suggest you go with her due to her great work ethic and true professionalism. She's a pleasure to work with and her portfolio speaks for itself as you can see at bluesinsight.com. Look up Orphan Jon and The Abandoned at bluesinsight.com and see for yourself the quality and eye of focus she has. We'll be returning to the Midwest soon, looking forward to not only having her shoot our shows again, but seeing her too. She's a gem

You can expect me to cover your gig with enthusiasm and look for the best way to show off the emotional experience of your performance. I work in both color and black and white, choosing what best showcases you in the best light. Please check out my work to see if it suits the style you are looking for. My job is to make you not only look good but reflect the emotional aspects of your performance. You put your heart and soul into music - I put my heart and soul into making your photos.
You're a great musician. Maybe you're young and new but a rising star. Maybe you're a veteran musician who has been around a long time. Either way, great visuals get you seen and your music heard - that's everybody's goal. Musicians are judged by not only their musical talent but also by how they appear in performances. I believe that musicians deserve professional grade photos. But how can you tell if someone takes great photos? It's actually really simple: look at the photos they have taken. I started out photographing musicians exclusively in 2009 because I believe I can make a big difference in promoting your music. I'm a photographer and photojournalist with a great eye who has been covering events and stories for over 25 years - but please judge if I'm right for you by my work. My job is to make you look good, whether it's covering your gig or making great still photos of your band. I'm easy to work with and I deliver memorable photos that get you seen in the best light and action. Member: American Society of Media Photographers. (ASMP vets its membership and requires portfolio reviews and referrals from other members in good standing.)
