About
I’m a Brooklyn-based photographer with more than fifteen years of experience photographing events, performances, cultural institutions, portraits, and people at work and at play.
I’m also a former event manager, which has given me a strong understanding of how complex events actually function—where I need to be, when key moments are likely to happen, how to work around guests and staff, and how to capture what matters without getting in the way.
My photography has appeared in The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and San Diego Union-Tribune, and I’ve photographed for arts organizations, universities, cultural institutions, corporate events, and private clients. My style combines documentary observation with polished composition, with an emphasis on natural expressions, candid interactions, atmosphere, and the moments that give an event its personality.
