Overview
Welcome! We strive to make your event stress free, positive and unforgettable! We are full time musicians with many years of experience and a passion for what we do. Our repertoire includes the Great American Songbook (Frank Sinatra, Ella, Tony Bennett), jazz standards, bossa nova, blues and some R&B. We have performed at venues such as Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, The Addison Grove, Texas Federation of Women's Club, Grand Opening of the Austin International Airport South Wing, Blanton Museum, The Westin, Four Seasons and many more. Size of the band may vary. We can perform as solo piano up to a sextet, instrumental or with vocals. We are punctual, flexible and easy to work with.

March 6, 2024Winery Valentines Dinner
Paula did amazing playing for our Valentines Dinners for our members. Our space can sometimes be very difficult to manage sounds and echoes, but the music was a perfect addition and all of our members raved about how great it all was! She read the room and was able to adjust when our leaders were giving speeches throughout the dinner. Highly recommend her for any event and we will for sure be having her back for events in the future!!

Paula Maya Band arrived on time for set up and were ready to play when our event started. Their selections were excellent. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their music. We were able to have conversations, but also many guests sat right in front of them to enjoy their music. They were gracious and lovely to chat with. Also, communication beforehand was very easy via the Gig Salad platform. They created a wonderful ambiance for our company's 15th anniversary party. What to expect
We strive to provide great music and awesome costumer service. A positive and stress free experience, contributing to the success of our client's events.
We provide all music equipment necessary, all we need is an electric outlet nearby where the band will perform.
We arrive at least one hour before start time to set up the sound system and instruments.
Besides live music we can provide recorded music during band breaks.
We can take song requests, in advance please (2 weeks minimum before day of event).
We are happy to work with your program schedule during your event.
About
Pianist Paula Maya is the winner of the Global Music Awards 2024 Silver Medal for Best Instrumentalist. She's classically trained at the Brazilian Federal University of Music, and holds a degree in Music Theory from the Conservatory of Music in Rio de Janeiro. She has performed in big bands, jazz orquestras and countless jazz and Brazilian music ensembles. Her group includes a pool of some of the best and well known jazz and bossa nova musicians in Texas. Her band has performed in many venues and festivals around Texas, including Austin Jazz Fest, Katy Jazz Fest, Leon Valley Jazz Fest, The Addison Grove, Texas Federation of Women's Club, The Dominion, The Oasis, St Matthew's Church, Unity Church of Austin, Belmont Village Senior Living, LakeWay Country Club, Horseshoe Bay, Austin International Airport, Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, Blackerby Hall, Auditorium Shores, Blanton Museum, McNay Art Museum, One World Theatre, Lost Pines Art Center, The Terrace Club and many more.

Additional booking notes
We provide all professional instruments, microphones, stands and a PA (Yamaha STAGEPAS - very compact, unobtrusive and powerful) where required. Perfect for most standard house/wedding/private functions, will cover a medium ballroom sized area. All we need is an electric outlet nearby where the band will perform.
Band arrives one hour before the event to set up the equipment.
