Paul Woida is a "one man band" who is able to replicate the full sound of an orchestra, choir or multiple piece rock band using loops and effects. His music exploits a wide variety of genres and moods and will take you on a ride as he creates every sound live in front of you. Because he covers such a wide range of musical styles he is able to match all sorts of venues. Not only is Paul a talented multi-instrumentalist, you can also expect a lot of stories and laughs from his comfortable stage presence. What to expect
I have a very diverse repertoire of songs and am hired for all sorts of functions. I know uptempo songs to get people dancing as well slow songs to create an atmosphere/mood. People love the way I create their favourite songs right in front of them as well. It always goes over really well!
About
I'm a one man band who uses a looper to make me sound as full as an entire band and choir. It always goes over extremely well and everyone enjoys themselves immensely. I'm often told I sound a lot like Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz and Jeff Buckley. I can play for three hours and know popular songs that vary from old classics to new hits so that everyone can enjoy it no matter what age. I am the winner of the Hot 107 $10,000 Hot Factor competition and placed first in the Canada-wide Big Break songwriting contest put on my Airmiles that allowed me to open for Meghan Trainor.
