Paul the Pianist

Paul plays a wide variety of music, from classical to ragtime to soundtrack music. He has an extensive repertoire, allowing him to provide more unobtrusive music or to play more showy pieces depending on what's appropriate. Thanks to his ability to quickly learn sheet music, he is also happy to learn new pieces upon request (within reason!). Paul prefers playing on an acoustic piano when possible, but he also owns a full-size keyboard that he can bring upon request (as long as you help him get it set up - too heavy for one person to cart around alone!).

Paul Brennan, a pianist based out of Sugar Land, Texas, has been playing piano for almost fifteen years. He grew up in Maryland as a classical pianist, participating in recitals and collaborating with other musicians at as young as eight years old. Developing an interest in and talent for sight-reading, one of Paul’s favorite pastimes quickly became playing through any piano book he could get his hands on. As he grew as a musician, Paul became his school’s primary pianist, accompanying school choirs and providing background music for school social and fundraising events. He also acted as the primary pianist for both his childhood and college churches in Maryland and Texas. Through these experiences, he became accustomed to working with others to develop set lists and to collaborate with other musicians.

These days, Paul enjoys playing piano wherever he gets the opportunity, especially when he can serve others with his music. Most recently, Paul has had the privilege of playing at his current church, Christ the King Presbyterian, as well as providing musical entertainment for the residents of The Reserve, a Sugar Land retirement home. Paul looks forward to collaborating with you to provide beautiful music at your future events!
