Patsy Cline A*Live Tribute

My tribute performance of Patsy Cline will take your audience back to the years of 1960-63. Patsy Cline was at the cusp of a skyrocketing career during that time. On stage, I envelop myself in her persona. I say the things she said, speaking with her West Virginia accent, commenting on events of that time, telling the stories that she told to her audiences. And of course, I sing her songs...all of her fabulous hits which I have listed on my set list. I engage the audience as she may well have done. Patsy was a lively, spirited gal who expressed warmth and humor with her audience. I believe that my show is an accurate portrayal of what you would have experienced had you attended one of her concerts! I truly put my heart, soul and voice into portraying "Miss Patsy Cline"

I have been performing my tribute to Patsy Cline since 2006. My 'in character' show includes all of the classic hits, such as Crazy, Sweet Dreams, Walkin' After Midnight and I Fall to Pieces. A typical show runs a minimum of 30 minutes to one hour. In addition to singing in her voice, I am completely in character as I banter and speak with the audience, talking as she would talk and saying what she would say. I consider myself an actress who just happens to play the part of one of the greatest vocalists who ever lived. I truly step into my role as Patsy to take the audience on a journey back through time to once again experience her wit and humor, her joyful spirit, and her tender soul. My wardrobe is consistent with the later years in her career, when she adopted a glamorous style of gowns, fur coats, diamonds and high heels in favor of her previous cowgirl look. My intention is always to bring "The Cline" (as she called herself!) back up onto the stage, to honor and celebrate her.... to let her "live"....to enthrall and entertain one more audience!
