February 6, 2019Patrick is excellent!
Patrick is awesome! He was on time and did a beautiful performance for my Dad’s 82nd Birthday. I appreciate the time he spent learning the Chinese songs I requested. He was also flexible on our guest’s song request. He is unusual in his ability to play the piano and sing at such a master level! I am very happy that we found him!

January 2, 2017Outstanding!
Patrick is an exceptional pianist/vocalist. He is very professional, reliable, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the event goes smoothly and is what you want. He played for my mother's 88th bday bash. Everyone was blown away by his talent--beautiful voice and masterful musician. He came out to rehearse with a friend of my mother's who was to sing a few songs. My only regret is that we didn't have him sing more. I highly recommend him. My mom's event was so special, and you made it so. Thank you so much, Patrick!

September 21, 2015An asset to any event
We have had Patrick to our home and to the homes of our friends many times. He is an extraordinary pianist and comes ready with the cross-section of songs that everyone wants to hear and after enough martinis wants to sing to as well. On time, elegant, and multi talented.

What to expect
I can provide you with a wide range of musical environments from background accompaniment, accenting and uplifting the mood of the event, to a full piano and vocals concert (or sing-along of the standards) in lieu of conservation.
If background music is needed, I usually like to perform up to four hours of 45 minute sets, with 10 minute breaks in between sets. For those 10 minutes, I can plug in my computer and play Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and the Rat Pack over the PA system (whether mine of yours).
Concerts or sing-along's usually last 1.5 hours at most (this can vary to whatever length you would like). We would be able to do two of these in a night if desired.
About
Hailing from Chicago, Patrick was the Music Arranger and Director for several folk musicals in New York, as well as for the Kennedy Center, for about two years before moving out to Los Angeles. He is currently the music arranger and session pianist/guitarist for the Los Angeles based Ginger Britt Daniels and jazz vocalist Katie Mitchell. Even though he has found success off-stage and in studios, his first love will always be performing live.
Additional booking notes
If there is a live piano available at the venue, all the better! Otherwise, I have a portable KORG SP-170S and a PA system available to bring to the event.
Something I like to offer that most people don't is if there is a piano at the venue but it is not tuned, if desired, I would love to find you a piano tuner in your area and over see the tuning process for you before the event. Tuning usually costs about $100 and I would not charge a finders fee. It's something I enjoy doing for clients, and it makes the event all the better for me and for the guests.
