Olga Fricker who was a central figure in spreading and institutionalizing the Cecchetti ballet tradition in North America. She was asked to teach at Juilliard. I expected a real ballerina and that is exactly what we got to perform for my Mom’s ‘Celebration of Life’! Irina wore her gorgeous pancake tutu! Irina the ballerina exhibits serious classical authority, discipline and transmission of academic ballet beautifully on stage! Irina the ballerina is an absolute star!
