Paint and Pop Entertainment

When you book with Paint and Pop, I guarantee a memorable time full of color and fun.

Here is what to expect on the day of the event:

We plan to show up 15-30 minutes before the scheduled time to set up our station.

We will be ready to start our services at the time you booked on GigSalad and end promptly at the time you paid for.

Please let us know if this will be an indoor or outdoor event, if we will be working in the shade or the sun, and if you have the counter space or table we can put our supplies on.

Please note the theme and target audience of the event and share it with us as soon as you book the event. We will often tailor our designs offered to the preferences of the audience.

We will clean up and organize our gear and supplies after the gig is over.

I'm a creative and passionate mom in the Mill Creek area who loves bringing smiles to people’s faces through balloon-twisting and face-painting. I have talented and creative artists from our community who assist me with larger events.
I participated in theater productions throughout high school and college where I became interested in stage makeup/face painting. Then, when my firstborn was about two and obsessed with Spider-Man, I'd paint his face all the time. Now, after several years, and two more kids, I'm often trying out new face-painting designs and techniques on them. Balloon twisting was also an art that fascinated me and my children, so we of course picked that up last year.
When I'm not popping balloons all over my living room, or bribing my children to sit still during a face-painting, I enjoy: writing books, reading, singing, exercising, and snorkeling.

Paint and Pop needs at least 24-hour notice for a requested event.

We sanitize our paint brushes between each painting.

The balloons we use have latex in them.

Balloons occasionally pop, which can be a loud sound and something to be aware of with any particularly sensory-sensitive kiddos or guests.

We require access to water.

Please let us know the following at the time of booking: number of guests and general age range, any special party theme or interests, whether a table and canopy (if outdoor) will be available or we should bring our own, whether there is access to water, and where we can anticipate parking.

Our typical setup includes: a table and chairs, canopy (if outdoors), a tablecloth, our balloon/face painting supplies, and a tip jar (for large events such as festivals, mall events, etc). Please let us know if you have any requested changes to this setup (or, for example, you will be providing your own table and tablecloth, etc). Note, if you provide a tablecloth, it will likely get small amounts of washable face paint on it, though we do our best to maintain a tidy workspace.

Services & Time Expectations
Paint & Pop Ent. provides time-based services, not guest-based services. The number of children served depends on design choice, line flow, and child participation.

Face Painting
• Approximately 10–12 children per hour for simple designs.
• More detailed designs take longer and may reduce the number of children served.

Balloon Twisting
• Approximately 15–20 balloon sculptures per hour for one-balloon designs (dogs, swords, flowers, hats, etc.).
• Designs with more than one balloon take longer and may reduce the number of children served.

Booking Time & Minimums

• A 1-hour booking is the minimum if you live within the 10-mile radius of Mill Creek, WA.
• A 2-hour booking is the minimum if you live outside the 10-mile radius of Mill Creek, WA.
• A 2-hour booking is recommended for most parties to ensure all children are served
• Additional time may be added in advance, subject to availability

*Once the booked time ends, services will conclude, even if there is a remaining line.

Setup Requirements

To provide safe and efficient service, we ask that you provide:
• A shaded or indoor area (especially for outdoor events) *
• A small table and a chair *
• Adequate lighting for indoor and outdoor events

Please ensure children can form one orderly line during service.
*If notified in advance, I can provide my own canopy, table, and chair for a flate fee of $25.

Adult Supervision & Safety

• An adult must be present at all times
• Parents/guardians are responsible for their children’s behavior
• Children must be able to sit still for face painting
• We reserve the right to refuse service for unsafe or inappropriate behavior

Health & Skin Safety

• We use professional, cosmetic-grade face paints
• We use professional-grade latex balloons
• Face painting will not be provided on broken skin, rashes, or if a child appears ill
• If you have allergy concerns, please notify us before the event

Payment Terms

• We book all of our services through GigSalad.
• A nonrefundable deposit may be required to secure your date.
• Remaining balance will be charged after the event.
• Gratuity: a tip jar/QRcode will be set out for large events such as festivals, mall events, etc.
• Accepted payment methods will be communicated at booking.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance
• Deposits are non-refundable
• Weather-related concerns will be handled on a case-by-case basis

Photos & Social Media

We may occasionally take photos of our setup or artwork for promotional use. Please let us know in advance if you do not wish for photos to be taken.

By booking with Paint & Pop Ent., you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Booking Policies & Service Agreement.
