Overview
As a former athlete and coach, my mission is to bring joy back to sports, take pressure off the children who play them and empower parents and coaches to support them in the most respectful way possible.
I speak to parents and coaches about ways to cultivate strong mental health habits in children, avoid devaluating a child’s experience and blurring the lines between their worthiness and how well they played during a game. I believe that we can create an environment conducive to mental health and growth within athletics if we are willing to examine the way we use shame as a motivational and disciplinary tactic.

What to expect
When I speak, I use the teachings of minds that came before me coupled with my own experience to offer a unique session that helps the audience understand their energetic blocks. Using the science behind energetics, trauma loop patterns and attachment styles, I work to create a personal rapport with whoever I'm speaking to. I also use ancient yogic teachings along with in-depth meditation tools to help strengthen the nervous system to heal old wounds. Covering anything from disordered eating to anxiety and other mental health issues, I offer new ways to think about what's going on in their lives from an energetic perspective which can pave the way to healing.
From here, I help people understand how to move through these blocks that come from the ego and align more closely with the soul. Using my personal story as a baseline for this process, I explain ways to transcend any perceived separation between them and their inherent life purpose.
About
I'm a writer, speaker and founder of Project HEAL Milwaukee, a nonprofit dedicated to providing treatment access to people who are suffering from eating disorders. I speak to parents about ways to help cultivate strong mental health habits in their children, avoid devaluating their child’s experience and blurring the lines between their self-worth and how well they play during a game.
After my own experience with high school sports, I suffered from severe mental health issues as well as an eating disorder. Unfortunately, this story is not uncommon for athletes at any level. It is my mission in life to bring joy back to athletics, take the pressure off the children who play them and empower their parents to support them in the most respectful way possible. I believe that we can help so many people who struggle with mental health issues if we are willing to examine the way we use shame as a motivational and disciplinary tactic.
