When you work with me, you get a hands-on, creative approach to filmmaking focused on authentic storytelling and high-quality visuals. I bring professional equipment, experience, and a calm presence to every production, capturing the moments, details, and emotions that make each project unique. From filming through final delivery, I work closely with my clients to create polished, cinematic content that reflects their vision and connects with their audience.

I’m Cesar Cruz, the founder and lead filmmaker of Padrino Films, a Sonoma County–based video production company. I specialize in wedding films, events, branded content, social media, and commercial video. I’m passionate about capturing authentic moments and turning them into stories that feel cinematic, personal, and meaningful. My goal is to create films that capture the essence of each story and leave a lasting impression.

For weddings, we work with the lighting, staging, and sound available at the venue and adapt our approach to each space. We’re comfortable working in a variety of environments and conditions, but can also plan ahead to supplement lighting, audio, or other equipment when needed to ensure we capture the best possible footage. We coordinate with the couple, venue, DJ, planner, and other vendors as needed so everything is set up smoothly and doesn’t interfere with the celebration.
