At the age of 19 I enlisted in the U.S. Army and was shipped out to Ft. Dix, N.J. It must have been one of the coldest winters because I had to bundle up going to the rifle range in a field jacket and an overcoat. It was a week of eating sand with the grub. By the time my enlistment was over; I had advanced to staff sergeant and demonstrated a great deal of leadership to the point of leading in exercises with 150 troops.
I'm a retiree now having worked for a bunch of small companies and two icon companies. While working I became a night student for business administration. I did not have a chance to finish. Upon retiring, I went back to school and I'm at Montclair State University, as a senior majoring in Political Science and I'm about to return to Psychology.
I'm also a musician and a veteran of alto and tenor sax, percussion and didling on the keyboard. I have written two novels. One is Armed Forces in Harm's Way and the other is FOXES- BEAUTIFUL CUNNING DEADLY. The first novel is about drugs at Annapolis Naval and West Point Military Academies. The second one would make the U.S. Marines as proud as they could get. There is a big slaughter of insurgents by killing specialist.
I'm a veteran of Toastmasters International with 65 speeches to my credit.
