Oyster Eye Design is a two-person creative entertainment team founded by CassiRaye and Nik. We offer professional face and body painting, henna, hair tinsel, glitter tattoos, temporary tattoos, and balloon art for children, teens, and adults.
CassiRaye is a lifelong artist with a passion for creating art that helps people express themselves. We love connecting with our community through creativity and creating something for everyone. We love what we do, and would love to share it with you at your event!

We hired Cassi for our annual church gathering, and she was an absolute delight to work with. Her face painting station quickly became one of the most popular attractions at the event. She brought a wonderful variety of designs that appealed to both younger children and older kids, and even offered temporary tattoos and balloon twisting, which were a big hit. Cassi was punctual, professional, and extremely easy to communicate with from start to finish. Her kind demeanor and artistic talent made a lasting impression. We look forward to having her back next year!

Oyster Eye Design is a fully mobile, self-contained creative art service operated by Cassidy Raye Ponton and Nik Rogers. We provide our own professional-grade supplies, tables, lighting, sanitation materials, signage, and equipment, allowing us to arrive fully prepared and operate independently at a wide range of venues and events.

Cassidy specializes in face and body painting, freehand henna, henna freckles, and hair art. Nik offers glitter tattoos, temporary tattoos, balloon art, and additional event services. Together, we provide a flexible two-person experience that can accommodate different event formats and guest volumes.
We are equipped for both indoor and outdoor events. For outdoor bookings, we can provide our own pop-up tent setup when needed. Setup and breakdown are handled independently, with minimal assistance required from the host.
Our experience includes festivals, fairs, private parties, schools, weddings, corporate events, community gatherings, nightlife, photography and modeling projects, and creative event activations.
For larger events, Cassidy and Nik can work side-by-side, allowing us to offer multiple services simultaneously and serve more guests efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming experience.
Travel Area: West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and surrounding areas.
Stage / Setup Requirements: No required equipment. Oyster Eye Design provides its own working equipment and setup.
Oyster Eye Design draws inspiration from childhood imagination, festival culture, fantasy and alternative art, storytelling, Appalachian creativity, folklore, nature, color, music, fashion, and the transformative nature of performance and wearable art.
Our aesthetic can move from whimsical and playful to earthy, elegant, surreal, dark, theatrical, or boldly alternative depending on the individual and the environment.
