Ovation String Quartet

At the event, we will arrive early, with plenty of time to be relaxed and ready to play. Upon arrival, I will meet and touch base with the officiant and/or coordinator, making sure that the details and cues are clear and understood by everyone. We dress and act professionally, and our goal is for everything to run smoothly and seamlessly. Our repertoire is extensive, but I also accommodate special requests. I love to arrange music for the string quartet, and because I am trained as both a classical and jazz/rock player, I have the skills to create interesting and appealing arrangements.

I have received two degrees in music - a Bachelors degree from Northwestern University and a Masters degree from DePaul University. Additionally, I studied jazz violin and play with a swing combo, and a contemporary church band. If you would like to hear me play live, I have regular ongoing opportunities at church services and venues where I perform. The other members of the quartet are also well-trained musicians, and we collectively have several degrees in music. Ovation String Quartet has been playing since the 90's, and has performed for hundreds of weddings.
