Before the event, we’ll discuss your audience, priorities, timeline and preferred atmosphere. You’ll receive a private online planning portal to organize important moments, music preferences, must-plays, do-not-plays, announcements and special requests. Clients can also provide guests with a private song-request link, making it easy to collect music ideas before the event while keeping final playlist decisions organized. I remain available for questions and coordinate with your venue or planner when needed.

On event day, I arrive early to set up and test professional sound, lighting and wireless microphones. Backup equipment is kept available, and the presentation is clean and appropriate for the room. During the event, I make clear announcements, watch the timeline, read the crowd and adjust the music naturally rather than relying on a fixed playlist.

For Music Bingo, Music Trivia and Karaoke, guests get a welcoming host, simple instructions and an organized experience designed to keep the room participating. For weddings and dances, expect smooth transitions between formal moments and a lively dance floor shaped around your guests. The goal is a polished, stress-free event that lets you enjoy the occasion instead of managing the entertainment.

I've spent more than 35 years helping people celebrate, connect and stay on the dance floor. Based in Ottawa, I provide professional DJ and MC services throughout Ottawa, Gatineau, Eastern Ontario and Manitoulin Island for weddings, corporate functions, schools, fundraisers, private parties and community events.

Every event is planned around the people in the room. I learn your priorities, timeline, music preferences, must-plays and do-not-plays, then shape the soundtrack and hosting style to match. Couples and clients receive an organized private planning portal, and I coordinate with venues and other vendors so important moments happen smoothly.

Along with traditional DJ services, I host Music Bingo, Music Trivia and Karaoke for pubs, retirement communities, schools, workplaces and recurring venue nights. I bring professional sound, dance-floor lighting, wireless microphones and backup equipment, arrive early and remain attentive throughout the event. My goal is simple: a polished, low-stress experience that feels personal and keeps guests involved.

My setup is fully self-contained. I bring my own sound system, lighting, wireless microphones, stands, cables, and backup equipment. All I require from the venue is:

* One standard 120V power outlet within 25 feet of the setup area

* A table (6 ft preferred) or a sturdy, level space for my DJ booth

* Indoor or covered outdoor location (equipment cannot be exposed to rain or moisture)

* If the event is outdoors, access to power or advance notice so a power solution can be arranged

For larger venues, tents, or multi-room setups (ceremony + reception), I can provide additional speakers, microphones, and wireless coverage with advance notice.
Sound levels are always kept appropriate to the venue and any local noise bylaws. I work directly with your planner or venue staff to coordinate setup, teardown, and any technical details.
