She would find herself in backyards, celebrating the little ones' birthdays, at libraries and aquariums to tell them stories from under the sea, and at swim schools, teaching them how to safely swim in fins which looked so much like her own.

Mermaid Avalon has years of experience working with children and has a current Lifeguard Certification on file. She is a "swimming mermaid" who is perfectly at home in the water for pool or beach parties. She began her mermaid career with a strong background in theatre and print modeling for many popular "teen" clothing brands as well as an interest in freediving, and her love of the ocean ultimately led her to choose "a path less swum"! She is very comfortable in front of a camera or large audiences.

Avalon has performed at numerous venues throughout Southern California, including Huntington Beach Hyatt, Lawrence Welk Resort, Crowne Plaza San Diego, Belmont Pirate Invasion, Santa Ana Zoo, Casino San Clemente, and countless private venues across the Golden Coast! She has performed for some very big names in Hollywood such as Courteney Cox, Jessica Alba, and Toby Maguire, amongst many others! Dozens of happy clients can't be wrong!
