One Scary Woman

Sara McDermott Jain is an award-winning, produced screenwriter and filmmaker, as well as an international best-selling author and public speaker. Her passion is moving readers and audience members through fear and into empowerment using the gift of story. She is also the creator of the Book to Script Course and has worked with over 75 authors and numerous production companies to adapt books for the screen. She founded PRINDIE, the Princeton Independent Film Festival ((phone number hidden)2), and is the current director of the Neumann Inspires Film Festival at Neumann University. Her best-selling novel, WOLVES AT NIGHT, is currently being adapted into a screenplay. Additionally, Sara is now directing the feature documentary NO RISK, NO GAIN about the Sisters of Saint Francis of Philadelphia. The finished film will debut in spring 2025.
