I hired A Jay, of Onaphotography, for my wedding announcement photos. And I could not be more thrilled with the results and the over all experience I had working with them. I had a lot of ideas in mind for what I wanted to do with these pictures, however it was stressful for me, as I feel very unnatural in front of a camera. But A Jay was able to take my ideas and help me narrow down which ideas I liked best, as well as their own thoughts about what might work; based on the ideas I had given them. They also brought her expertise to finding the best poses and angles to shoot my fiancé and I from. Which made things so much less stressful for me, as I felt that they listened to my ideas, and they helped me to feel less nervous in front of the camera with their guidance. I love the way that my pictures came out, and plan to hire Onaphotography for my wedding as well.

I hired A. Jay to take pictures for my wedding announcement. I had a very specific idea in mind of what I wanted my pictures to look like, and was anxious about them, as I always feel super awkward when I’m posing for pictures, and never know how to stand, or where to put my hands. So needless to say, I was a nervous the day of our shoot. But A. Jay handled her role as our photographer beautifully! She made me feel instantly at ease, that she would guide me into the right poses, for the right look I was trying to achieve. She was also incredibly receptive, when I gave her my ideas, as well as telling me what would elevate my ideas and make them better! Which was really helpful for me, and took all of the stress away from trying to get that “perfect” shot, which just made the whole experience more fun than I had anticipated it being!

Use this photography service. In addition to working with them for headshots, I have had the pleasure to work with them otherwise. Ashley is amazing, and she came to Illinois to do photography for our wedding. The shots were not only worth the memories they serve, but her professionalism and knowledge of the craft goes beyond expectation. She knew how to assert priorities with the photography without trying to take charge aggressively. She worked with us rather than for us, and she was incredibly professional and kept it fun! And when it came to working with the kids, Ashley was perfect. She was great at keeping it light, but taking charge when necessary. And at the reception, she wasn't reluctant when we asked her to put down the camera and dance along with us. Loved working with her!

If you are anything like me, getting your headshots taken is a nerve wrecking adventure..
Or so I thought. Bc Working with AJay is an absolute delight. Where in the past I often felt like photographers didn’t quite get me She TRULY saw me and my vision. I’ve been working with her for years and can’t wait to work with her again. 12/10 !

ONA Photography is my all time favorite company for my photos and/or headshots. A. Jay and Jay are very professional on set and I always get my pictures back in a timely manner. As a model/actor I am constantly looking to have updated pictures done for casting submissions and they are always flexible with getting me scheduled. The pictures are high quality! Definitely my top pick for professional photos!
