The Northside Brass jazz trio was a fantastic addition to our intimate evening wedding reception. Ryan was very knowledgeable when working with our wedding venue and made our planning process that much easier. On top of everything, the musicians were professional and sounded amazing (despite performing in suits in 90-degree weather). They set the perfect tone for our outdoor event and our first dance as a married couple.

Ryan and the Northside Brass Band were an absolute pleasure to work with, and from their outfits to their playlists, they went above and beyond to fit the theme of our Victorian Garden Party backyard wedding! They opened our picnic-style cocktail hour with 40's jazz and seamlessly transitioned to lively brass dinner music, later adding a lovely vocalist who perfectly fit the hot, sultry summer evening. All the transitions from recorded to live music were clean and imperceptible, and they kept our friends and family dancing late into the night. We'll be dreaming of this perfect night for decades to come, and I couldn't be happier that the soundtrack in my memory will be the Northside Brass Music Co.

I hired Ryan Hobbs of Northside Brass Music Co. as a soloist for my father's outdoor Celebration of Life. Ryan is a true professional in everyway, which brought us great comfort during a difficult time. He was kind, easy to communicate with and even transcribed a special piece of music (that my father had loved from as far back as we could remember) for the trumpet. Ryan is also an accomplished, highly skilled musician...his smooth, soulful sound brought beauty and grace to our celebration. My dad would have loved it! Without hesitation and with great enthusiasm, my family and I highly recommend Ryan and Northside Brass Music Co.

I hired the Northside Brass Music Co. for our neighborhood Oktoberfest this year (2020). What a delightful experience. The was on time as you would expect and played beautifully. They played everything from German Polka’s to the occasional pop song. The band members we’re all dressed in lederhosen. They did a stellar job. I assure you, if they are available next year I’ll hire them again. Absolutely wonderful

Northside Brass Music Co. played a Labor Day event at Lake Point Tower in Chicago. Beautiful music! Set list was fun and upbeat. Each member of the band spoke briefly at various times throughout the performance and provided some laughs and witty banter. Fun was had by all and the music was top notch! The music was so well received that I have seen multiple request for the quintet to reappear at a later event. Highly recommend.
