At North Star Circus Arts we seek to be the light that grows joy, creativity, innovation, imagination and courage within all of our audiences. We want to help everyone discover their North Star through the wonder and awe of the circus. We provide our customers professional, highly experienced and creative circus artists, acts and shows - combined with a professional event planning experience.

Laura Emiola is the founder of North Star Circus Arts, LLC. She is a performing arts professional who specializes in circus acts including aerials, tight wire, bottle walking and more. Her professional performing and competition experiences have brought her to stages across America, delighting audiences at circus shows, corporate events, fairs, festivals, weddings and more.

Laura brings a lifetime background in movement (performance, teaching and competing) + business experience to her company. Her performance and teaching background is comprised of circus and aerial arts, all-star competitive and collegiate cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, musical theatre, pole dance, flexibility/contortion, Pilates, personal training, swimming, group fitness, Zumba and more.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications Studies from The College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN, and has been teaching fitness and performance movement for over 20 years. She is a Certified Personal Trainer (ACE), Comprehensive Pilates Instructor (Balanced Body) and Integrated Movement Specialist (Balanced Body). She has previously been certified as a Group Fitness Instructor (NETA), Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguard (American Red Cross), and Zumba Instructor (ZUMBA Fitness). She is a member of the Pilates Method Alliance and the American Circus Alliance. She is also CPR/AED certified. She spent over 15 years in healthcare consumer leadership, experience, engagement, design, and marketing.

Freestanding Rigging Options with Technical Specifications

-Aerial Quad Rig: The rig has a 20'x20' footprint and is 20' high. This rig can be adjusted to shorter heights, which also means smaller ground footprint.

-Freestanding Tight wire (Large): 5' high, 8' wide and 20' long. Performances require a minimum footprint of 20'x15' and 15' of vertical space.

-Freestanding Tight wire (Medium): 3.5' high, 5' wide and 20' long. Performances require a minimum footprint of 20'x15' and 12' of vertical space.

-Freestanding Tight wire (Small): 1'5'' high, 3' wide and 10' long. Performances require a minimum footprint of 10'x15' and 10' of vertical space.

-Lollipop Lyra: 8'9'' high, minimum ceiling height needed is 10'5'' and spacing for act is 16'5'' ground footprint and air space.
