What to expect

North Coast Steel provides professional steel drum music designed to complement your event rather than compete with it. Our performances create a warm, tropical atmosphere that is perfect for cocktail hours, weddings, corporate events, private parties, community events, and outdoor gatherings.

Our repertoire includes Caribbean favorites, classic rock, pop hits, jazz standards, Disney favorites, and timeless classics, all arranged for steel pan. We tailor our volume and musical selections to match the mood of your event.

About

North Coast Steel is a steel drum solo and duo act featuring lifelong musicians and close friends, Adam and Sam. Having performed together in various ensembles for over 20 years, they recently came together to share their passion for the steel pan.

Both musicians hold undergraduate degrees in music and bring decades of performance experience to every event. Adam continues to teach percussion while working as a therapist and pursuing a Ph.D. in Counselor Education. Sam works in the music licensing industry and performing in a Chicago-based band, combining his professional music background with years of performance experience.

Outside of their careers, music has remained a constant in both of their lives. North Coast Steel was created as an opportunity to continue making music together while sharing the unique, laid-back sound of the steel pan. They enjoy creating a relaxed atmosphere that enhances weddings, cocktail hours, private parties, and special events without taking the spotlight away from the occasion.
