What to expect
I am capable of supplying all of my own equipment for a gig including drums, cymbals, hardware, and microphones. I am also able to come prepped on any music desired. Though very musical, I tend to be a heavier hitter, so venues should be aware of that as a potential constraint if the room is "boomy" or the gig calls for particularly light playing.
I also pride myself on consistent, timely, and clear communication as my background is in the business world prior to full-time music work.
About
Noah Dearborn is a professional drummer, producer, and engineer active in the Los Angeles area. Originally from the Bay Area, Noah grew up playing a myriad of styles. From touring Europe in a 120 piece orchestra to playing raw hard rock/metal gigs at the local bar with his band Corretta, to MD-ing worship bands on Sunday mornings, Noah loves to do it all. This variety in his background affords Noah both an academic/technical awareness of music and also a real-world perspective and ability to apply this knowledge. He is excited to offer his powerful and precise style to your project!
He also has experience in the studio both as producer and engineer on his own work and as an assistant to Clay Blair of Boulevard Recording. This has granted him great experience in both recording and mixing, making him a competent and capable hand in recording environments.

Additional booking notes
For live full drum kit gigs, I require a drum rug and some form of monitoring. I am not picky about having a wedge vs. in-ears but do tend to run my monitor mixes hot. For that reason, most live engineers I have worked with have liked to keep me on in-ears to keep the stage volume cleaner and tighter.
For remote work/tracking I use Avid Pro Tools and (at the moment) an assortment of Audix, AKG, and Shure Microphones. As a baseline for what mixed stems would sound like, check out the "STAY" cover video on my profile (It is a more recent sample). I am capable of sending full sessions for post production/mixing, stems, or a stereo, mixed drum track (whatever is easiest for you!).
