Once booked, I like to get the details of the event as early as possible: the atmosphere you’re looking for, audience, timing, song preferences or requests, and any technical considerations. The more I know in advance, the better I can prepare a performance that fits the occasion.

Before the event, we’ll confirm the setlist and performance details together so there are no surprises on the day.

On the day of the event, I’ll arrive ahead of the performance time to allow for setup, a soundcheck if needed, and any final coordination with the venue or organizer.

Once everything is ready, you can expect an emotionally driven live performance focused on strong vocals, connection with the songs, and creating the right atmosphere for your guests.

Montreal-based singer Noa Kemp brings a warm, expressive voice to a wide range of pop, R&B, and acoustic covers.

Her repertoire blends current hits with familiar favorites, with a focus on emotional pop, soulful vocals, and recognizable songs that work for both attentive audiences and more relaxed settings.

Noa can perform in voice + guitar or voice + piano formats, and can adapt the setup or repertoire to other requests when needed. She sings in both English and French, making her a versatile fit for private events, cafés and restaurants, cocktail hours, corporate gatherings, community events, and intimate celebrations.

Alongside covers, Noa is also a pop singer-songwriter and regularly performs her original music on stages around Montreal.

Technical requirements depend on the performance format and will be confirmed in advance.

For most performances, the basic setup is:

* Voice + guitar: vocal microphone and stand, amplification/input for the guitar, and access to power if needed.
* Voice + piano: vocal microphone and stand, with the piano/keyboard setup discussed in advance.
* A monitor is preferred for amplified performances, particularly in larger or louder spaces.
* A small, clear performance area with enough room for the performer(s) and equipment.

If the venue already has a PA/sound system, I’m happy to work with the equipment available. Any additional sound requirements can be coordinated with the venue or event organizer before the event.

For outdoor performances, a protected performance area and access to power may be required depending on the setup.

No special lighting or elaborate staging is required.
