Overview
The NitroBlast STEM show is all about having fun through science. I use the properties of Liquid Nitrogen ( at -320 degrees F!) in demos that will astound and amaze you. The shows are hands-on and interactive, not just watching. Everyone will have the opportunity to participate in the demos and experience the effects of Liquid Nitrogen for themselves.
Suitable for all ages at parties, celebrations, events, and meetings.

We had Dr. Jerry come to our Girl Scout meeting and our 3rd Graders girls have never had more fun! The experiments were engaging, thought-provoking and age-appropriate! They not only learned tons of interesting facts about liquid nitrogen, but also gained a better understanding of how it works… and what was happening in each experiment and why. Our parents and troop leaders were actively engaged as well and loved trying the “dragon’s breath” cereal, homemade ice cream and “freezing” of the fingers! 2 hours absolutely FLEW by, and honestly our girls could have sat there for another few hours just doing these experiments! Highly recommend to anyone who had a science-loving kiddo, or better yet- anyone who just enjoys experiments and magic! Because I’ll be honest, some of these experiments seem like magic they are so mind-bending! Tons of fun! 🤩

Dr Jerry and Jane were fantastic 😊 So much fun and educational, entertaining! My residents had a blast I would love to do this for my grandkids and will definitely book again for my residents 😁 the ice cream they made was phenomenal and my residents asked for it at least 4 times and Jane and Dr Jerry actually brought extra in case people asked for more and they were cleaning the dining room up after our residents were done eating which they did not need to do lol but insisted on helping out ❤️ they were the sweetest people I can't say enough about them and the program!!!!

We are very happy with our choice to book Nitroblast! We had kids ranging in age from 3-10 and everyone loved it including the grown ups. We had Dr. Jerry come out for my 5 year old nephew and 7 year old niece. Due to this we had kiddos aged 4-8 attending the party. Dr. Jerry did fantastic making sure everyone was included, learning and having a great time. Dragon breath was a great time and the kids were all able to learn and participate at their own rate. Would highly recommend!!

I customize the shows to the venue and audience. Younger audiences love the fun and older audiences have lots of questions about the whys and hows. Me? I enjoy making the fun and answering the questions.
Most the shows include OuterSpaceIceCream… made in 1 minute right before your eyes… the smoothest ice cream you will ever taste in or out of this world!
The shows are typically an hour in length, plus or minus, and I’ll tailor the time to fit your schedule.
About
I am a retired Professional Engineer with a PhD in Engineering and a US Army veteran.
NitroBlast began many years ago as a science demo for schools to inspire students in the STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). When I retired, I continued to provide science demos as a hobby... a hobby that turned into a passion… after all, you can only play so much golf.
There was so much demand founded STEMtastic Shows llc , to deliver the NitroBlast and other STEM shows for event arty Entertainment and School Demos. It is a "break even" company... the fees from the Party Entertainment pay for the supplies for the School Demos, which are pro bono, i.e. no cost. My time is donated. So, every Party show results in a free show for a school class.
It is my pleasure to “pay it forward” by stimulating the minds and imaginations of young people in STEM subjects.
Additional booking notes
All the demos were developed and tested with safety foremost. Liquid Nitrogen is not inherently dangerous... it is just extremely cold. I provide safety glasses and gloves for all participants.
