Niki performed at our restaurant wedding reception and it was the perfect personal touch we were looking for! I've worked with Niki and enjoyed her shows on many occasions. One that really stands out was an online music fest in 2021, put on with a grant from SoundOn. Niki traveled to the Okanagan with all her gear to headline our little fest. She was very professional in every interaction that day and leading up to it. And her performance? Wow! It drew the largest online audience of the evening, and was emotional, powerful and flawless. Niki has this beautifully versatile voice which is comfortable singing her intriguing cover versions of songs, or her own beautiful originals. All of this is accompanied by gorgeous piano accompaniment. In short, she is wonderful to work with and entirely captivating as a performer. You won't ever be sorry you hired her!

Niki is such a professional singer with a BEAUTIFUL voice. She has one of the widest repertoires I've ever seen, which makes working with her the easiest and coolest thing!
She reads the room and knows what's JUST RIGHT for each moment. I would definitely consider her as my first options of singers to work with. She's a 10/10!

About
Born and raised in Aotearoa New Zealand, Niki Kennedy is an award-winning Pasifika singer-songwriter and musician based in Toronto. Grounded in roots and soul, she blends warm grooves and emotional melodies into honest storytelling with heart.
Her forthcoming album, The Space In Between (2026), explores themes of home, identity, and belonging. It’s a journey of reconnection through culture, nature, and story, integrating Polynesian elements into contemporary roots music.
Niki holds a Master of Music degree from the London College of Music (University of West London) and, as a career performer, has had the privilege of playing on hundreds of stages, from large festivals to intimate rooms.
Through music, she shares openly, hoping listeners feel seen, heard, and held. Each note is a quiet invitation to meet ourselves and one another gently, in pursuit of a kinder world for all.

As a solo artist, I am available to accompany myself with a keyboard (or venue piano, tuned). Duo, trio, or group also available for an additional fee.
Shelter or cover from elements such as rain and direct sunlight must be provided for outdoor performances. I can provide my speaker(s)/PA for small-medium sized venues, and can provide a portable power supply for solo outdoor performances if required for venues that may not have access to power.
Happy to travel for events, subject to additional fees.
