I love playing a variety of music. I offer solo classical violin for ceremonies, events, and special occasions. I offer violin duos, pop/rock music, Irish folk music, and Hardanger fiddle (traditional music from Norway). I am from Colorado, and love that so many different genres of music are alive here. I have played in rock bands as well as orchestras, and am happy to find music to fit your vision for your event.
Our 100+ guests thoroughly enjoyed your hardanger fiddle songs and playing. It was extra special to have you accompany the folk dancing; then later also speak through the microphone to explain the unique things about this fiddle, and your personal story of playing it. The applause said it all! You added to our 50th golden anniversary celebration! On behalf of Trollheim Lodge and the 50th planning committee, Connie Bartram, Event Coordinator
Nicolette did such a beautiful job for our event. She was timely, came fully prepared and most importantly played beautiful music. Can't wait to have her again soon!
Nicolette was a joy to have at our wedding! My husband and I sat down with her to discuss what we wanted her to play before our ceremony beforehand, and she already had a list of songs that she recommended. She really got a sense of the vibe we wanted: romantic and joyful. I even asked Nicolette to play "The Shire" from The Hobbit for when I walked down the isle, and she was open to playing something a little different. Having Nicolette play at our ceremony was so special; would definitely recommend :) Thank you!
My St. Patrick's Day party was taken to a new level; Nicholette played lively Irish music while the guests were finishing dinner. Not only is she an amazing fiddler, but a warm and lovely person. We loved her! I would certainly use her again.
