We sing a variety of music from classics and Broadway to contemporary in the barbershop style. We are not your grandparents barbershop group. No arm bands and straw hats.
he New Tradition Chorus is an award-winning a cappella chorus with members from Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Chartered in 1982, this Illinois District chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society has a long-standing reputation for delighting audiences through exciting harmonies and memorable performances of songs spanning decades and genres.
Depending on the venue we may bring our own sound system. We do not have any special requirements for lighting. For larger corporate events we may bring our own risers if the large group is requested.
Our set list varies year to year. If you are requesting a particular genre we may be able to accommodate that.
