At Neverland Entertainment we offer high-quality character party rental, mermaid entertainment, Dinosaur encounters, face paint, rentals, & MORE! We have been offering Professional Entertainment in Michigan for the past 10 years and we have serviced everything from Birthday Parties to large Corporate Events.
Our team is comprised of dreamers hand selected for their expertise in the field of Children's Entertainment. Our goal is to transport you back to a place of child-like awe and wonder. October 3, 2025Horrible Communication and Punctuality
I was referred to this company by another company who was unavailable. When I called Hanna said she'd seen my request on this platform, but was just getting back in town and caught up - understandable. She said "This will be perfect because this particular performer lives in the same city!". The call dropped so she texted me and let me know she had already reached out to the performer in question a few days prior, she's just waiting for the performer to get back to her. Days go by with no update, so I texted and asked for an update, no response. The next evening, I called, Hanna stated her performer has yet to get back with her, and that I shouldn't wait around for them. By far the worst series of scenarios done as a business owner. My party is now less than 2weeks away, and I'm fumbling to find a performer due to the lack of communication.

Unfortunately, I can't write a great review on this company. I was so excited to have them come for my daughter's birthday party after reading all the great reviews and checking out their Instagram. I received a message around 8:30pm the night before my daughter's party that the character I had booked had unexpectedly become unavailable but they were working on other characters for me. I totally understand that sometimes the unexpected happens and I do not fault them for this. I did not see this message until a few hours later and replied immediately after I read it and said I was fine with any princess character that was available. I did not get another message through gigsalad or otherwise after that.
The morning of the party, I called the number provided for the company and left a voicemail just wanting to know if someone was coming. I also texted (as stated in the outgoing message on the voicemail that it was OK to do so) asking the same question a little while after my phone call, just so I knew what to expect for my daughter's party. I never got a return phone call or a response to my text message, and unfortunately no character showed for my party. I would have just really appreciated a phone call as a courtesy to let me know that they were not able to find another character to fill in for the originally booked character. It would have also been a professional courtesy to call me and inform me of the unavailable character the night before the event rather than simply relying on messaging through the 3rd party booking that was used, as my phone number was required for booking. It would have prevented the message from being missed. Thankfully I did see it, but not for several hours after it was sent.
Luckily this was going to be a surprise for my daughter, so I didn't have a disappointed little girl.

We tailor our performances to your needs! A very typical package would be 1 character for an hour.

We train our characters to understand how to add that special magic to any party or event. We also train them in their "character integrity", meaning that they must always remain in character no matter the situation. These performers understand how to handle difficult spontaneous situations that can arise when working with children. Not only are they prepared and equipped but they are excited to serve! Although we want to keep prices down, we never want it to take away from our quality. We hire performers that are in line with our company's values and who seek to ensure no child is left behind. At each performance, we know they will bring 110% of their energy, investment, and spirit. We don't just look for good entertainers, but for people with caring hearts who put the child first. So Yes, we are affordable, but never at the cost of quality.
Safety First
Rapunzel doesn't care for "ruffians, thugs, or men with pointy teeth..." and neither do we. We are aware of the delicacy of children's entertainment and the importance of putting safety first. Each of our entertainers and crew is personally interviewed face to face and receive a thorough background check. We do this because we know you deserve that reassurance. We realize that the people we add to our cast are an extension of the company and we want to ensure that they are highly suitable for the job. When you hire a character with Neverland Entertainment you can be assured that you're not only getting quality but safety as well.
Additional booking notes
Our basic packages require no special requirements for set up. It is our company policy to arrive 30 min in advance to your event. This is to ensure we are never late and so the character attendant can answer any last-minute questions you may have.
On the occasion you are hiring for a large event where we would perform on a stage- we do require a rehearsal/Mic test to make sure all technical issues are set prior to the performance. When booking we will discuss the details with you and make sure it works for your venue and our crew.
Dinosaur or mermaid tank performances require specialty considerations to be discussed upon inquiry.
