December 19, 2024A Magical Visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus
We were thrilled to have Santa and Mrs. Claus join us for our children’s holiday party, and they were absolutely magical! From the moment they arrived, their warm and festive energy brought so much joy to the event. Santa was patient and kind as he listened to each child's wish list, taking the time to make every child feel special and heard. Mrs. Claus charmed everyone with her gentle nature and engaging conversations, creating a truly memorable experience for the kids and parents alike. Their costumes were perfect, and their professionalism was unmatched—they embodied the holiday spirit in every way. Santa and Mrs. Claus also brought plenty of laughter and smiles, making it an event we’ll cherish for years to come. We can’t recommend them enough for any holiday gathering—thank you, Nevada Santa and Mrs. Lollie Claus, for making this season so magical for our little ones!

What to expect
Holiday magic and so much more!
Imagine the excitement your guests will feel when Santa and Mrs. Claus make a grand entrance at your event all dressed in red. Nevada Santa and Mrs. Lollie Claus work closely with clients to gather information about their vision of the event. It is our goal to make it the best it can be.
As the main event, Santa does not disappoint. For events of 25 guests or less, imagine the surprise you will see on the face of a child or guest when Santa knows things about them like what they got for Christmas from him the year before. How about the name of their Elf on the Shelf? Nevada Santa and Mrs. Lollie Claus have the technology to make this happen. Prior to the event, Nevada Santa or Mrs. Lollie Claus will contact the client to inquire if this is an experience, they would like to provide for their guests. If it is, Nevada Santa or Mrs. Lollie Claus will ask the client to complete a short questionnaire about the children or guests. Things like their name, their age, what they got from Santa last year, what their Elf on the Shelf's name is, to name a few topics. As the child or guest approaches Santa, for the traditional sitting on Santa's lap, Mrs. Claus will whisper their name in Santa's ear through the in-ear device. From that point on during the one-on-one visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus will continue to feed information from the questionnaire to Santa until the visit is over. This available service is a very unique to Nevada Santa and Mrs. Lollie Claus.
Mrs. Claus is an accomplished singer who will lead your guests in singing Christmas some of the most favorite Christmas carols. How about story time with the children or even those adults who are children at heart? Mrs. Claus has a collection of traditional, silly, and Christian stories to share with the children. Are you planning a crafting or cookie decorating party? Mrs. Claus loves being a part of these events also.
For Nevada Santa and Mrs. Lollie Claus, winter is the most WONDERFUL time of year! We are excited to be a part of parades, tree lighting ceremonies, Christmas carol sing-a-longs, fundraisers for residents in the community, festivals, and anything Christmas the community offers. Did someone say, SNOWBALL FIGHT!? We will bring our indoor snowballs for a fun fight indoors or outdoors.
As the snow begins to melt and the new colors and fragrances of the flowers and trees fill the air, an appearance of Santa and Mrs. Lollie Claus on vacation at your community garden, craft fair, farmer’s market, or fundraiser is a delightful way to encourage the community to work together for the common good.
Opportunities for the people of our community to get together to celebrate are endless. There are barbecues and chili cook-offs, food and wine festivals, car shows, concerts, and much more. There are 4th of July events where the public is invited to display their patriotism and celebrate the freedoms we enjoy. Nevada Santa and Mrs. Lollie Claus will attend the event dressed in their best summer or patriotic attire and share the Spirit of Christmas in July.
The fall changing color of the leaves, signals the snow will soon begin flying. The smells from the baking of fall favorites fill the air. Communities host different types of harvest festivals, holiday craft fairs, and begin planning their holiday events. An appearance byNevada Santa and Mrs. Lollie Claus will begin building the excitement of the holiday season just around the corner.
Don't be left in the cold! Hire Nevada Santa and Mrs. Lollie Claus for the extra magic they can bring!
About
Carla Wilson "Mrs. Lollie Claus" - A lifelong performer, Carla has been entertaining audiences throughout Northern Nevada and Lake Tahoe since 1981. Her experience spans musical and non-musical theater, film, commercials, and some of the region’s most beloved holiday events.
Her Christmas journey began in 2010 with the Polar Express™ Train Ride, where she brought Lollipop the Elf to life. She went on to become the lead entertainer for the Candy Cane Express aboard the historic Virginia & Truckee Railroad in Virginia City for five years. Since 2016, Carla has proudly served as Production Director for the Polar Express™ Train Ride.
In 2020, Carla created Mrs. Lollie Claus, bringing Christmas joy directly into homes through virtual experiences. Today, she continues spreading holiday cheer alongside her longtime friend, Nevada Santa, at events, venues, and community gatherings throughout the year.
Inspired by Buddy the Elf’s belief that “the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear,” Carla’s mission is simple: share joy, laughter, love, and a little Christmas magic with audiences of every age.
Jimmy Arendt "Nevada Santa" - Jimmy Arendt was born in Los Angeles, California, and has been bringing the magic of Santa Claus to life since 2003. His passion for performing and creating memorable experiences has made him a beloved member of the Northern Nevada theatrical and railroad community.
In 2011, Jimmy joined the cast of The Polar Express™, a Warner Bros. production, where he performed for an impressive 12 years. Although his time as a cast performer has ended, Jimmy continues to be an important part of the production as the Assistant Rehearsal Director, helping prepare performers and keep the magic of the Polar Express alive for new generations of passengers.
Jimmy has also performed in and contributed to the Virginia & Truckee Railroad’s summer melodramas, taking on memorable roles such as Mr. Big and Quincy Card, affectionately known as “Q Card.” As Q Card, Jimmy became the cue-card and sound-effects guy, adding his own unique brand of humor and personality to the performances.
With years of experience in character performance, theater, comedy, and live entertainment, Jimmy brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine love of storytelling to every production. Whether he is wearing the red suit, riding the rails, or helping performers find their way through rehearsal, Jimmy believes the greatest part of theater is creating memories that audiences will cherish long after the curtain—or the train—has left the station.
