As a musician and performer of 8+ years, I love what I do and offer an engaging, inviting energy to any space I'm playing in. I sing music from the 60s, 70s folk, rock and soul…all the way to modern day music, pop and jazz. I’m an old soul and love music spanning time and genres. Sultry, powerful vocals, paired with my guitar, and a versatile songbook-will have you smiling, dancing, and vibing all day/night. I’ve performed many types of events from concert halls to private events, weddings, on boats, ski hills, and backyards. My strength is my ability to connect with and adapt to any setting. I also can create songs on the spot and have the crow sing along in the creation of song!

Expect to smile, laugh, and feel comfortable as a guest. I can take requests, and even improvise a song on the spot, feeding off of the audience and the event. It's a good time, laid back and memorable.
Vanessa has been performing across stages for nearly a decade. Vanessa has been a solo performer, as well as a vocalist in several bands including the lead singer in Jazz quartet "The Swoon Quartet," duo "Lo Ruby," indie rock band "Easy Ruckus," and been a vocalist on several other recording artist's published albums. Vanessa is a singer songwriter, and has released five singles digitally across all platforms in the last three years. Vanessa is on her way to releasing her debut EP "Working Hours" by the end of 2023/early 2024. Vanessa's versatile range in both vocals and songwriting styles, has allowed her to sing in many corners of North America, and appease all different kinds of people's taste.
I am a one woman show. It is a simple pop up set up, meaning I am mobile to fit in almost any space and location (which is great!) It also means if you require a bigger sound set up, we'd need to discuss renting gear.
