This Carolina Girl has performed as a full-time musician since she was 18 years old. From restaurants and bars to private parties, weddings, and club events, she is well-versed in the requirements of different events. She is professional and knows what is required to please an audience. Her years of experience and talent make her the ideal choice for almost all venues.

Nancy has performed as a solo act for 17 years in Atlanta and N.C. In her years of experience she has performed successfully with a number of bands and duos, traveling up and down the East Coast as well as Nashville and the Midwest. She has opened for such country greats as T.G. Sheppard, and David Frizzell. She has performed with Travis Tritt was offered a position with at the beginning of his career with Warner Brothers, which she declined.

Because of her incredibly beautiful and adaptable voice, Ms. Olive is able to sing an incredible number of musical styles. Most of her songs can be performed with just vocals and guitar, although many of the dance songs benefit for additional drum and bass tracks in addition to her guitar. She is a solid guitarist who also writes and performs her own backing tracks when the song calls for it.

Known for her versatility, Nancy is able to please any age group. Her extended repertoire includes a large number of current top 40 and country songs as well as many Oldies for the older crowds. Nancy’s song selections include a variety of dance music, rocking party songs, as well as modern acoustic rock, mellow dinner music and romance songs. Nancy worked in several upscale restaurants and is able to play no less than 5 hours of beautiful dinner music. She can also keep the crowd rocking all night long and not repeat a single song.

Nancy Olive quickly built a name for herself in the Grand Strand area having lived in the area since 2011. Once you hear her sing and play, you will want to hear more.

I required at least one standard grounded electrical outlet within 50 feet of the area where I set up. I do prefer to use my own equipment and to be amplified although I have done strictly acoustic before. (Just a note: If you like the thought of someone play with guitar on a beach for a small gathering with no amplification, you will be disappointed . It is very hard to hear any music over the wind and surf. This is why I recommend using a PA system.)

I prefer an area of at least 5 feet by 3 feet deep to set up my PA and equipment. It MUST be a dry area away from splashing water and rain. It is very dangerous to stand in water while using musical equipment. I prefer a covered stage area, especially in the heat of summer, but not always required for a song or two.

My PA covers venues for groups as big as 200 people and as small as 10. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
