Aloha! Na Wahine O Ke Anuenue would love to perform at your next event! We offer family friendly Polynesian entertainment including dances and costumes from Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa and New Zealand. We love to dance for audiences of all sizes - no party is too big or too small! We also have a Christmas holiday program available from Thanksgiving to Christmas (can also do Christmas in July!). We perform year round so contact us at any time!

They were prompt, got set up right away, and their costumes were wonderful. Their show flowed perfectly. My event was a luau and my guests were amazed. You can't have a luau without Hawaiian entertainment. This dance troupe made the evening perfect. Mike B.

What to expect
Our typical show is 45 minutes long and includes a fire coconut dance and audience participation at no extra charge. We perform dances from the islands of Hawaii, Tahiti and New Zealand. We have several costume changes throughout the entire show and have an emcee to narrate and explain each dance.
About
Na Wahine O Ke Anuenue (Women of the Rainbow) is a Polynesian dance group that performs in the Metro Detroit area. Our dancers range in age from 5-adult. Some of us have been dancing together for over 30 years! We've studied with Kumu Hulas (Master Hawaiian teachers) and love to share our love of the Hawaiian culture. From children's birthday parties to corporate events, we'd love to take your guests on a journey through the Polynesian Islands!
Additional booking notes
We will need a changing area very close to the performance area - our costume changes are done in 3 minutes or less! The shorter our run back and forth is, the smoother the show will flow.
We can perform inside or outside, but cannot dance on gravel, asphalt or blacktop in our bare feet.
Fire coconut dance can be done inside!
Late August to mid-June, we have very limited availability on weekdays.

We perform both Kahiko (ancient) and Auana (modern) Hawaiian dances as well as Tahitian, Samoan and Maori dances. Each performance is custom designed to meet the client's needs. Don Ho and Elvis Presley are popular with our senior audience members!
Setup requirements
An outlet near the performance area (we bring our own sound and microphone)
A space to use as a dressing room - tent, bedroom, office, restroom (only if it is not open to the public)
We cannot dance on hot asphalt, gravel or rough surfaces in our bare feet!
We will start arriving 30 minutes before the scheduled showtime to start setting up.
