About

My Monday Band isn't just about playing songs; it's about creating a moment. A moment where a whole room sings along to a classic hit they'd forgotten they loved, where the dance floor is packed, and where the energy is absolutely infectious. We are a five-piece cover band from Noblesville, Indiana, dedicated to bringing the best rock and pop hits of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s to your event.

The heart and soul of our band is the unique and heartwarming dynamic of our father-daughter vocal duo, Steve Ricker (on bass) and Audrey Olry (on keyboard). What started as a fun way to spend Monday nights making music together has grown into a polished, high-energy act. Their shared love for music and natural chemistry on stage is what makes every performance special and engaging for audiences of all ages.

Rounding out our powerful sound are three seasoned musicians: the intricate and soaring lead guitar work of Derek Van Natta, the solid foundation of Randy Surette on rhythm guitar, and the driving, in-the-pocket beat from our drummer, Graydon Lower. Together, we are five dedicated musicians who simply love this music and love performing it for people.

Our setlist is a carefully curated journey through some of the best decades in music, featuring crowd-pleasing anthems from legendary artists like Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, The Cranberries, U2, Amy Winehouse, and The Black Crowes. We pride ourselves on choosing songs that are instantly recognizable and fun, ensuring that every guest at your event feels connected to the music.

Beyond the performance itself, we are committed to providing a professional and seamless experience for our clients. We bring our own high-quality sound system, including a front-of-house setup, to ensure the audio is perfectly tailored to your venue and your guests.

Our goal is simple: to make your event fun, memorable, and full of great music. We can't wait to work with you!

Additional booking notes

What We Provide: A Professional, Self-Contained Show

We pride ourselves on being easy to work with and self-sufficient. To ensure the best possible experience for you and your guests, we provide our own complete, professional sound system.

Pro-Grade Sound System: We bring a high-quality PA system suitable for audiences of up to 250 people, including speakers, microphones, and all necessary cabling.
Front-of-House Mixing: Our system features a digital mixing board with a 100-foot snake. This allows our sound engineer to be out in the audience (Front of House), mixing the band to sound perfect for your specific space and event.
Stage Monitoring: We use a professional on-stage floor monitor system, which allows the band to hear each other clearly and deliver a tight, polished performance.

What We Require From the Venue/Client
To ensure a safe and successful performance, we require the following:
Performance Area: A flat, dry, and level performance area of at least 16 feet wide by 12 feet deep.
Power: Access to at least two separate, dedicated 15-amp electrical circuits within 25 feet of the performance area. This is crucial to power our equipment safely without tripping breakers.
For Outdoor Events: Adequate cover from direct sun and potential rain is required for the entire performance area (e.g., a covered stage, a sturdy event tent, a covered patio). This is necessary to protect our equipment and ensure the performance can go on.
Lighting: While we provide everything needed for sound, we do not provide a stage lighting rig. Any desired lighting for the performance area should be provided by the client or venue.

We are always happy to discuss these requirements further to ensure a smooth and successful event for everyone!

Influences and inspiration

Our influences are a roadmap through some of the best decades in rock and pop music. We are deeply inspired by artists who combine timeless songwriting with undeniable grooves—the kind of music that becomes the soundtrack to people's lives.

At the core, our sound is shaped by the heartland rock of Tom Petty, the intricate harmonies and emotional depth of Fleetwood Mac, and the blues-infused swagger of The Black Crowes. We also draw heavily from the iconic sounds of the 90s and 2000s, with major influences from artists like U2, The Cranberries, Stone Temple Pilots, Sheryl Crow, and the soulful energy of Amy Winehouse.

It's this love for great songs—from classic rock anthems to alternative hits—that drives our performances. We aim to honor these incredible artists by recreating their music authentically while bringing our own high energy to every show.
