My Fayre Maieden was great, and the staff really loved the readings.

I really wanted to enjoy this experience, and I don’t like leaving negative reviews, so I’ll simply say that this tarot reader wasn’t the right fit for me or for my daughter’s graduation party.
I originally booked her for about 2½ hours, but she stayed for the almost the entire party without checking with me about extending the agreed-upon time. At the end of the night, I was unexpectedly charged an additional $260. I would have appreciated being asked before additional time and charges were added. I sent out 100 invitations so their were so many people here and I was being pulled in so many directions I had no time to stop to go and talk.
The readings were also much longer than I anticipated—some taking close to an hour—which meant several guests waited quite a while and ultimately never got a reading. For a party setting, I expected shorter readings so more guests could participate.
I’ve had my tarot cards read many times, particularly in Salem, Mass and my previous experiences have been much more interactive. I’ve always been able to select or at least handle the cards myself. Here, I wasn’t able to touch or choose from the deck; the cards were selected for me. I was also a little surprised that the deck used was Winnie the Pooh themed, which personally didn’t feel like the right atmosphere for an adult graduation party. I do understand tarot card readers are particular about their deck of cards though.
During my reading, I was asked if there was anything happening in my life that I wanted clarity on. I shared some very significant things, including that my husband has cancer, but I left feeling that none of those concerns were really addressed. I also didn’t come away with much insight or clarity about my future, which was what I had hoped to get from the experience.
She was pleasant and kind and I’m sure her reading style may be a great fit for others. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t the experience I was expecting, particularly given the additional cost and the number of guests who didn’t get the opportunity to have their cards read.

Great communication from the start. She was so easy to work with every step of the way, and easily settled into card readings as part of out mother’s 70th birthday. She was flexible when we found the need to extend the time. Most of all, she exceeded expectations when found her way around a tree across the road blocking access to our house. She happily parked and walked through the woods to get to us! Family members enjoyed the tarot card readings!

We had tarot readings done for my 28th birthday! We originally were booking for only two hours, but booked longer since it was so loved. It was such a magical night- Maie made it even more special.

Although I was not personally in attendance, our onsite representative was extremely impressed by Maie’s creativity, professionalism, and collaborative spirit. Not only did she deliver engaging Tarot readings for guests, but she also stepped in to assist behind the scenes when one of our visual performers encountered a costuming issue. Her willingness to help wherever needed speaks volumes about her character and commitment to the overall success of the event.
