Music with Michelle

Michelle performs solo with keyboard, voice and sometimes flute/whistle. Music genres range from jazz, latin, celtic, classical, broadway and more. I like to get people involved by singing along and dancing. With my various bands, the same is true. Always professional, friendly, thoughtful and making a special effort to create unique and memorable performances that leave smiles behind.

I've got my own set of high quality gear and arrive completely self-sufficient. Over the years I continue to compile themes as well, so many different ideas are available. I'm always taking requests and learning new songs. YouTube shows my various videos and livestreams (a collection of songs and photos).

MICHELLE CARLISLE
...is an accomplished performer, teacher, accompanist, session/studio musician, songwriter, composer and arranger. She performs and records as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist with her flute, piccolo, alto and bass flutes, pennywhistles, fifes and piano. Her beautiful voice and vivacious flute playing have delighted audiences all around Canada and the US.

Michelle performs with a number of music groups around town including Blackthorn, Caviar & Lace, Halifax Wharf Rats, Triskellion and her own group of flute players called Fluterrific.

Michelle is also a teacher, offering instruction in flute, whistle, piano and music theory in North Delta, BC.

Depending on the event, I bring everything I need. I've got a stage plot available for each of the bands I'm in.
