2) Duo with myself on keyboard and vocals and Donna Groom on vocals and keyboard; wide variety music
3) Solo piano and solo keyboard music
4) Concert/show act with Donna Groom doing shows; 1) LOVE LETTERS; a show featuring love letters from soldiers during time of war and music; 2) FEELIN GROOVY, a show featuring great hits from the 1960s and 70s.. 3) DEJA VU; an 60-90 minute tribute to Dionne Warwick.

About
RICK PURCELL has been a full time musician for his entire career. Performing with his own band or duo as a keyboardist/vocalist or as a solo pianist, Rick has averaged over 250 engagements per year in his career. Rick also contracts other musicians for other parties and events including solo pianists, guitarists, violinists, harpists, bagpipers, classical and jazz duos, trios and quartets. Rick can also book other bands when his band is busy. Rick's band and duo feature vocalist/guitarist, Shari Richards, one of the most versatile singers anywhere, feeling comfortable singing blues, jazz, Big Band, Top 40 or classic rock.
Over his career Rick has also contracted back up bands and orchestras for many Big Name Stars including Smokey Robinson, Anne Murray, The Temptations, Bobby Vinton, The Four Tops, Mickey Dolenz, Don Rickles, Regis Philbin, Jim Nabors, The Spinners, The Coasters, The Platters, The Drifters, Ray Charles, Wayne newton and others
In 2012 Rick also began doing performances with jazz/blues vocalist, Jessica Lee. Jessica and Rick decided to put together a concert/show that was developed by Jessica Lee, entitled SHE'S GOT THE BLUES. With full orchestra arrangements by Rick Purcell, they debuted their concert/show with The McKeesport Symphony Orchestra in May of 2013 and will be perfroming with other area orchestras in the Spring and Fall of 2014. Jessica and Rick are also the opening concert for the 68th season of MUSIC FOR MT. LEBANON in October of 2013 and will present an elongated version of SHE'S GOT THE BLUES in a different setting; their 11 piece "Little" Big Band. Besides the concert stages and jazz clubs, Jessica Lee and Rick Purcell also have a Gospel/Inspirational Program that they have been performing in Pittsburgh area churches, as small as a duo, but usually as a combo.
