Ty Hankerson is a gifted speaker, experienced mentor and product of the New York City Public School System. Ty has worked in the non profit sector for a number of years with the assignment of hiring and training young adults. Over the course of his time in the non profit sector Ty had the privilege to interview over 150 young people and supervise the majority of them. While interviewing and supervising these young people Ty realized that a great number of them lacked the skills necessary to obtain and retain a position within a company. He also realized that most of them, like himself at that age, dealt with personal issues such as depression, negative peer influence and low self- esteem. From this Ty, with the help of his team, took on the mission to reach as many young people as he could to equip them with the skills necessary to head-up a healthy balanced life both professionally and emotionally. Ty brings workforce training and motivational messages to schools, churches, places of business and organizations that have invlovlement with teens and young adults.
