Alexandria E. Ferguson has a special gift of touching the spirit and encouraging women to live to their fullest potential. Specializing in helping women and young girls keep rising and triumph over all adversities, Alexandria can provide women and young girls with strategies to live life without limits.

Alexandria is the former communications officer for North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Company, the nation’s oldest and largest African American life insurance company. As the communications officer among many of her duties she assisted with the development of media relations campaigns for: Tavis Smiley – Radio and television show host; Ambassador Carol Moseley Braun – First African American woman elected to the United States Senate and former Ambassador to New Zealand; Michael Eric Dyson, Ph.D. – Renowned scholar and author of
over 15 books; George Fraser – Chairman and CEO of FraserNet, Inc. and author of several books; Johnnetta B. Cole, Ph.D. – Former President of Spelman and Bennett, both historically black colleges for women in Atlanta, G.A. and Greensboro, N.C., respectively; James H. Speed, Jr. – President and CEO of North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Company; Marc Morial –President and CEO of the National Urban League; Corey Parker-Robinson- Actor and Andre Royo- Actor.

Alexandria has served on several panels and delivered keynote addresses for many corporations, colleges and universities, non-profit organizations and churches including but not limited to: Winston-Salem State University, Wake Forest University, University for North Carolina at Charlotte, North Carolina Central University, North Carolina State University, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, IBM, Northeast Medical Center, Virginia Union University, Black MBA’s Raleigh-Durham Chapter, National Association of Black Engineers,
and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Youth Conference. She has appeared as a motivational speaker at Motivational Mondays with Les Brown and Anita Hicks, and was a featured ballet dancer for the motivational production Keep Rising featuring Patricia Russell-McCloud and Generations Community Credit Union.

For over two decades, Alexandria studied Cecchetti Method of Ballet, tap, classical pointe and
jazz.

She is the former radio hostess and producer of Inside WSSU and Community Issues with
Alexandria E. Ferguson. She is a former contributor on the Amos Quick Radio Show. Alexandria
is also the former hostess of Law360 with Attorney Ken Harris and Perspectives with Attorney
Ken Harris.

Alexandria is a freelance journalist for Lake Norman Publications and a monthly motivational
columnist for Black Business Ink magazine.
