Shirvington Hannays brings insight to our book club

Last night I had the pleasure of sharing an evening with Shirvington in an intimate setting. Our book club consists of seven women, some transitioning into retirement and others nearing retirement. Shirvington immediately sensed the trust we share among our group and facilitated an intimate and honest discussion around change, motivation, how we get "stuck" and "unstuck". As both a student and teacher of behavioural change, his insights left an indelible impression on each of us.

Thank you Laurie. It was an insightful experience to sit amongst such individually courageous women. Each willing to explore the often dreaded subjects of being "STUCK" in some area of personal, social or professional life. Coupled with the willingness to do the required work to "CHANGE" and get "UN-STUCK"

One of the Best Speakers We Had

Last year, our school hosted a social justice event with the theme of resilience. Shirvington Hannays was informative, engaging and upbeat. We received much positive feedback from our students and we would not hesitate to have him back at our school again.

It was an honour to present and facilitate a part of this event for a team of youth organizers ready to be key role models and leaders of their futures and that of Canada to impact the rest of our global social village. I was impressed and inspired. Happy to return anytime.
