She holds a B.A. degree in Business Management with a Professional Communication minor and a Master Science in Community Psychology.

Roxie Hendon is a domestic violence advocate, mental health advocate, freelance writer, publisher, author, and facilitator. She is a 15- year survivor of domestic violence. Her goal is to break down the emotional barriers that lies between the victim and society by allowing them to enter the present mind of an abused woman.

As President of Roxie H Publishing, Roxie knows writing can be a form of healing and she wants to assist women in not only their journey into healing but also a new way of financial freedom.

Roxie H's passion for spreading awareness of teenage dating violence, domestic and sexual abuse comes through her motivational speaking, facilitating support groups and book clubs. She is a mother of two teenagers male and female. Roxie H is a Christian, and knows God is the source of her strength, her escape from abuse and most importantly the road to healing. She received her B.A. in Business Management from Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. Roxie H is a member of the National Association of Professional Women's Network and PMI Small Business Network in Milwaukee, WI.
