I first learned of Mooney when I heard him playing in Belmont Shore on Second St. There are a lot of performers that play on Second St., but Mooney’s the real deal. How he isn’t a household name at this point is beyond me! He’s a virtuoso on the guitar and has amazing vocal range. He sings a wide variety of songs that span such genres as classic rock, classic soul, and international music. I took my partner to see him perform on Second St. and she liked him so much that we booked him for her birthday party! His performance was wonderful! He even learned and played a song from my partner’s favorite group, which made the party that much more special and memorable. And our guests felt like they were attending a mini concert! And if that’s not enough, Mooney’s also a super nice guy. I definitely recommend booking him before he gets picked up by a record label, at which point booking him will cost you exponentially more. You’ll be happy you did!
