Monkey Love
Monkey Love is a high energy rock band formed in late 2010 and has literally been bursting onto the DFW music scene with a fury. The philosophy behind the group is simple. Talented guys with a huge variety of musical influences get together to play stuff that most other bands don’t play. Performing a veritable treasure trove of hit rock music from the '60s, ’70s, and ’80s. So far, the philosophy has been working.
Monkey Love can set the right mood for any event and planners find that we are extremely flexible. Give us an idea of what you are looking for and we can handle the rest. The level of experience that each individual member of the band brings to the party is extensive. Not to mention, we also clean up nicely if you are going for something formal!

Dave Lucas: Vocals, Acoustic and Electric guitar: The poor soul that got elected to drive this monkeylicious busload of talent.
Karlan Armstrong: Vocals, Drums/Percussion: Master of the skins and tortured Saints fan.
Dan Shinedling: Vocals, Lead Guitar: Slide Guitar Virtuoso and lover of Bloody Marshall Amps that go to 11.
Forest Parker: Vocals, Bass. Almost certainly the happiest man in the room. Keeps pinching himself to see if this is all real.
Andrew Marton: Vocals, Keyboards. Has a full range of outfits with many hats, sunglasses, and sparkly jackets. Every girl wants to get a picture with this crazy dude.
You might say our collective on-stage energy is addictive. The Monkey Love fan base, (THE BANANA NATION), certainly feels that way.
