Overview
Monk Slippers is a Bellingham-based jazz quartet featuring long-time collaborators Marinus on keyboards, Jesse on upright bass, Kendall on baritone sax and flute, and Dylan on drums. Inspired by jazz greats like Thelonious Monk and Wayne Shorter as well as reimagining jazzy and funky renditions of tunes by the Beatles and Neil Young, the Monk Slippers deliver Jazz, Pop, and Funk that keeps it tasty and will get you grooving. Our quartet is dedicated to delivering high-quality performances that captivate and engage audiences of all ages.

I cannot begin to express how easy and enjoyable the process was of working with Monk Slippers. They were professional and responsive through the entire process, coordinated their attire to the event, and adjusted their schedule as requested based on moving timelines. Monk Slippers created the perfect environment for 50th anniversary celebration. The live background music added an ambiance to the air that invited conversations and laughter. I would highly recommend this group to anyone who wants to enjoy their evening in style!
