Monica specializes in aerial silks, but is also trained on other apparatuses such as lyra, trapeze and hammock. Coming from an extensive dance background, her pieces focus on creating a story through the use of musicality and dynamic movements. Her acts bring a unique synthesis of dance, aerial, poise and strength. She takes her audience on a journey that they are sure to enjoy.

August 8, 2022We found Monica on Gig salad and looked at her videos of her ambient performances just beautiful . We had to book her with tight booked schedule . When I contacted her about a performance she was happy to speak with me and also explained the different types of Ambient Aerial sets. We booked her quick . She showed with her Tri-pod rig we helped set it up she wore my Birthday colors Red my theme. The drapes in red the wind was good I had a DJ and a playlist . I introduced her to my family and she showed up and showed out it was amazing and exciting for kids and adults she gave 2 shows both very different she was on time with the Dj. Both shows got a standing ovation from me and my family . Her show was beyond reproach for your events we will be booking her again don’t wait start in advance !!!!

Monica is a multidisciplinary artist that specializes in aerial acrobatics and dance. She fuses together aerial and decades of classical ballet training, making her known for her grace and poise in the air.
While ballet is her forte, on the ground Monica is also trained in jazz and modern dance. She has most recently collaborated with SacDanceLab, Hip Service and Borne Dance Company in the Sacramento area. In the air, she specializes in aerial silks, hammock, lyra and she enjoys the silver kisses of aerial chain. She captivates audiences with rich storytelling through the use of musicality and dynamic movements, leaving them in awe at her acrobatics. Her performances have enchanted audiences across a variety of venues, from the Crocker Art Museum and Napa Language Academy, to the Rancho Victoria Vineyard, backyard get togethers and corporate retreats.
Monica has an insatiable thirst to continue growing as an artist and coach. She currently lives in Sacramento, CA and when not performing you can catch her teaching in the community. She is pescatarian as well- almost full vegetarian so if you invite her to a steakhouse she will have to politely decline.
