We’re still smiling from our wedding thanks to Monica & Chad! Their music was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Their covers of Here Comes the Sun and Can’t Help Falling in Love made our ceremony feel even more magical, and their Bossa Nova set brought such a joyful, elegant energy to the evening. Our guests are still raving about how much they enjoyed the music. We recommend them for anyone looking for a talented, professional, and memorable live band.

Monica and Chad are amazing! So much talent between the two of them, so down to earth. We asked them to play at our opening of our Brazilian restaurant with very little notice, they obliged. It was a holiday weekend and they were scheduled to play the following day. They traveled a great distance to come out and support our opening by playing for our guests. The audience wanted more! They stayed and played longer despite their drive home and long travel the following day! Our friends are requesting them back and we have added their beautiful music to our playlist at the restaurant, car and home! They complimented our style and really wowed the crowd! Couldn’t have had a more perfect evening, they created the mood that we only dream of! The best!!!! Thank you Monica and Chad!! We hope you will play for us again in the near future!!

Monica da Silva and Chad Alger are a Brazilian American duo, based in the Napa Valley of California. Vocalist da Silva, grew up living between the Midwest, USA, and Belem, Brazil - a city on the Amazon River. da Silva sings in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French, and plays the flute and melodica. Alger accompanies her in his signature rhythmic style. The duo's songs have been nominated for an International Brazilian Press Award, and are featured in the Golden Globe Award-winning movie 'Lady Bird', in the Paramount Network series 'American Woman', on the Putumayo World Music compilation 'Brazilian Beat', in The Official Playlist for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and in the 2019 Fall campaign for the designer Tory Burch.
