Overview

I am currently a masters music student at The Juilliard School and a recent alum of Rice University (Houston, TX). I have played at weddings, nursing homes, dinner parties, conferences, museum events, on a sidewalk corner, and everything in between! I can play as a solo violinist or pianist. Or, I can call my large network of musicians to form a duet, trio, or string quartet for your event needs. I have a large selection of classical, wedding, pop, Christmas, religious, Bollywood, and other sheet music. I have a composition background and can arrange any song (I mean anything—just give me a YouTube link!) for any number of instruments.

What to expect

I'd like to know the location, total time commitment, and set list (if you have one). You can request a solo violin (just me!) or I can call on my friends to provide a duet, string trio, or string quartet. You can also request a set list of music or a genre such as "light classical," "pop music," or "wedding music."
After the details are known, I will give you my final quote based on the following information: amount of music, number of musicians, and travel time.
After that, I'll see you at the gig—I'm always 15 min early! I typically wear concert black or business formal, provide my own stands and sheet music, and all I need is a chair to sit on. If it rains, I must be covered completely. I will not play outside if it is below 50 degrees. A microphone is not needed unless the party is over 250 people.

About

I recently received my Masters at Juilliard and moved to LA to start a conducting fellowship at Colburn in downtown LA. I graduated from Rice University with a degree in music composition. I am an experienced musician with a large selection of music for gigs—ranging from John Legend's "All of Me" to Bach's Brandenburg Concertos, to personal arrangements. I play violin, viola, and piano. I can also call on my large network of musicians to put together a duet, string trio, string quartet, or any other combination. I am a great communicator, punctual, friendly, and succinct! I will always show up early to the event. I provide my own stand and sheet music.

I can bring my own stand. I will not need a microphone unless the party is over 250 people. I will wear concert black (or something else if you request).
