Elijah Henderson was born May 16, 2000, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and has been shaped by his community. Mr. Henderson is well versed in several skills, including being fluent in German, jazz piano, bass, and several other brass instruments. He has graduated with a bachelor's in Vocal Performance from Wingate University. He has performed Bach’s B minor Mass, Requiem by Durufle, and the Gold Standard Chorus-a barbershop choir in Charlotte. He has also toured South Africa with the Wingate Music Ambassadors under (link hidden)nney Potter's direction. He is also the principal Pianist for the 208th Army Reserve Band. In the fall of 2021, Mr.Henderson played the leading role of "the Artist Martinez" in the world premiere of the opera "Behold the Man." Currently, Mr.Henderson is working on a vast array of jazz compositions and getting his Master in Vocal Jazz Performance at North Carolina Central University. Mr.Henderson aspires to perform internationally and share his various interests in music.
