MJ Ultra

Michael John Wagner, aka “MJ Ultra”, is a Los Angeles based alternative-R&B recording artist, songwriter, and actor. His music has been featured in multiple film and television shows, and his face can be seen on television, film, and major international advertising campaigns.

MJ grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and is a classically trained theater actor who graduated from the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts and was awarded the President’s Scholarship to the prestigious Point Park University.

In 2022, “The Recipe”, MJ’s debut album, has garnered him national and international appeal, and he has just completed a near two-year tour of the USA, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Ireland and most recently, South Korea.

- Singer and songwriter for Boxinlion’s “Black & White” which has amassed more than 50 million streams worldwide as of 2020, and has been featured in a worldwide advertising campaign for Braun.
- Singer and songwriter of “New York, New York” for Sony’s hit film Friends With Benefits starring Justin Timberlake, and was featured on America’s Got Talent, Dancing With The Stars, and America’s Next Top Model.
- Singer and songwriter of “Holly Holy” for Columbia Pictures’ blockbuster Here Comes the Boom starring Kevin James.
- Singer and co-writer of “Call On Me” and “Invincible” for Universal Pictures’ franchise Bring It On.
- Starred in major advertising campaigns for Facebook, Walmart, Chrysler, Samsung, and Sakura.
- Starred in, and composed music for the independent drama, Three Rivers.
- Performing in supporting roles in features films like Wild West Chronicles, Pirates of Carribean 3, Drillbit Taylor, and Fading of the Cries.

MJ is releasing two new singles and music videos this year, “Moonlight” and “Goddess”, and is preparing another tour of Europe and the US in the summer of that year. Aside from his professional ambitions MJ is an avid gamer and a life long fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
